Old Hickory Shipping

LodgeCraft is an authorized dealer of Old Hickory Furniture.

Most items requiring 4 weeks or more manufacturing time are shipped via motor freight.  Our shopping cart is designed to reduce the rate charged per pound as the combined weight of items in our cart reach specific thresholds.

First 100 lbs. $1.10 per lb.
From 101 to 200 lbs. $110 plus $0.90 per lb. for every pound above 100 lbs.
201+ lbs. $200 plus $0.35 per lb. for every pound above 200 lbs.

Standard Shipping - Most Old Hickory Furniture items are shipped via Motor Freight.  This means your order will come to you in a box with a crate around it.  You will need to make arrangements to receive the shipment when the freight contractor calls to notify you of delivery.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada Orders - Please call us at 1-800-296-2032 (406-297-2547), fax us at 406-297-2548, or e-mail us at info@oldhickoryfurniture.com with the merchandise information and your complete delivery address so we can quote the shipping fees.

Changes / Cancellations - After your order has been placed, any changes will be subject to our ability to conform to the requested change.  The procurement process begins as soon as your order is placed.  In many cases, your furniture or accessory is being constructed specifically for you.  Once the purchase order has been sent to the manufacturer, LodgeCraft is financially obligated to purchase the products ordered.  Generally, we are not able to accept cancellations or returns.  We may however, at our discretion, make an exception to this policy.  If you wish to request a change, please call us as soon as possible.

Satisfaction / Returns - Customer satisfaction is the foundation of our success.  Our customers are overwhelmingly satisfied with their furnishing selections.  However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you must call us at 800-449-3147 within 7 days after receiving item(s) for return instructions. Item(s) must be in original purchase condition for a refund minus a 25% re-stocking fee.  Please re-package merchandise with care as return freight damage will be chargeable to you.

Production Times - Production times will vary because of the unique hand crafted process and may be up to 6-10 weeks.  If you have a specific delivery time frame, we should discuss this prior to order placement.  LodgeCraft will not make impossible promises to get a sale.   We convey honest, realistic expectations.  Sometimes, through circumstances beyond our control, we do not make a projected delivery schedule.  We will do our best to expedite your order, but cannot guarantee an exact delivery day.

Delivery Notification - On all motor freight deliveries, you will be notified via telephone by the delivery service at least 24 hours prior to delivery.   The LodgeCraft staff will include your pre-delivery contact phone number and delivery address on the bill of lading.  When the freight dispatcher contacts you, please verify (and clarify if necessary) your delivery destination.  They will arrange for an approximate time of delivery, usually within a (4) four hour period of time.

NOTE:  If no one is at home when delivery is attempted, you will incur a minimum re-delivery charge of $75.00 per order.  Please make sure someone is at the delivery destination to receive the order.

If your home is not accessible by delivery truck (example: summer home in Michigan snowed in during winter months), we may have to transport your merchandise to the nearest accessible point and it will be your responsibility to provide pick-up and transportation to your home.

In some cases, remote delivery charges may apply.  We will notify you prior to shipping if this should apply or call us if you are concerned.

Order Tracking - Actual shipping time averages (7) seven working days, but can take as long as (15+) fifteen plus working days under unusual circumstances.  If delivery contact is not made approximately (10) ten working days from shipping notification, you may want to check on the transit location of your order.  Please e-mail us at  info@oldhickoryfurniture.com or call us at 1-800-449-3147 with your invoice number and we will respond promptly with the most up-to-date information.

When Your Merchandise Arrives - Please be prepared to inspect your order when it arrives.   Check the bill of lading and verify that the quantity of packages delivered agrees with what the BOL indicates left the factory.  Please do not sign the bill of lading until you are reasonably sure the merchandise has been delivered in good condition.  If you should discover damage, it is your responsibility to notify us immediately, 1-800-449-3147 or e-mail info@oldhickoryfurniture.com .  You must sign the bill of lading with a note describing the damage you see.   Although damage claims are rare, they can happen and your products are fully insured against freight damage.

Freight Damage - Your products are insured against freight damage.   Should freight damage be determined, we will either arrange to have the merchandise repaired to factory new conditions or replaced at no cost to you and as expeditiously as possible.
